I have hosted with ahost in the past and I think its a good company. Maybe support could be somewhat better but for the rest no complaints whatsoever and very inexpensive. I can recommend them to anyone.

Compared to other hosts ahost.net are a breath of fresh air. Great service and excellent support. I've just had a ticket resolved in no time last night I was expecting from past experience with other providers a wait for days for the first response but ahost came back to me within minutes and they had the issue resolved in the time it takes to make a coffee. ahost.net are just what you'd want from a hosting company. I've never experienced more than couple of minutes once downtime in more than 2 years of service. A friend of mine recommended ahost and I decided to try them. I use ahost to host my blogs and the webserver is very fast much faster than any other web hosting I've tried before. I ran some speedtests. They are very fast at upgrading their servers to the last version and with cPanel administering is a breeze. Installing the blogs with cpanel was done in seconds.

I haven't had a single problem with Ahost after using it for almost a full year. I have the basic plan and it easily handles the traffic I get on my sites that don't get over 500 visitors a day. I host multiple domains through it which is easy to set up through their control panel. The speeds seem fast but not quite as fast as I have seen on some other servers. I have only experienced a very tiny amount of down time when they switched the location of my server.

I am new to websites. I purchased my first domain less than 3 months ago and started to host with some other company suggested in a review web site. After 2 weeks of struggle with constant downtime inefficient web service and inflexible webbuilding capability I decided to leave that company. I picked Ahost almost by chance again based on some reviews. So far the experience was wonderful. The site has never been down the cPanel interface and help system is very intuitive. The style templates they provide are a bit fragile the only negative I encountered so far but this is not the fault of Ahost.

I would recommend ahost to most. Large high volume sites will have to do some due diligence. If you're looking for great value to run reasonably well visited sites these guys are great to work with.
